Myriam MIHINDOU est née en 1964 à Libreville (Gabon). Franco-gabonaise, elle fonde son expérimentation artistique sur la notion de limite puis de références liées aux questionnements autour des relations interculturelles et d’ouvrages psychanalytiques fondamentaux. Nomade, elle s’approprie les espaces, les incarne, nous donnant à voir des états de passage, initiatiques, cathartiques. La question du corps se rapporte alors à la mémoire, à l’identité et au territoire. Production « trans-émotionnelle » intégrant une dimension politique, le corps de l’oeuvre entraîne par-delà les limites tangibles.
Mihindou Myriam was born in 1964 in Libreville (Gabon). Franco-Gabonese, she founded her artistic experimentation on the concept of limit and references related to questions about intercultural relations and fundamental psychoanalytic literature. Nomad, she appropriates spaces, embodies them, giving us to see states of passage, initiatory, cathartic. The question of the body then refers to memory, identity and territory.
